Chapter 16: Daivāsura Sampad Vibhāg Yog
ahankāraṁ balaṁ darpaṁ kāmaṁ krodhaṁ cha sanśhritāḥ
mām ātma-para-deheṣhu pradviṣhanto ’bhyasūyakāḥ||18||

Meaning : Those who are proud and self-conceited, stubborn in their ways, and attached to wealth and arrogance perform religious rituals only in name. Their worship is done with hypocrisy and not according to the proper rules or true spirit of the practice.

Chapter 16: Daivāsura Sampad Vibhāg Yog
idam adya mayā labdham imaṁ prāpsye manoratham
idam astīdam api me bhaviṣhyati punar dhanam||13||

Meaning : Today, I have acquired this wealth, and I am confident that I will achieve all my desired goals. This wealth is already mine now, and I believe that even more riches will come to me repeatedly in the future. This mindset reflects strong attachment to material possessions and a firm belief in continuous accumulation of wealth.
