Chapter 16: Daivāsura Sampad Vibhāg Yog
ahinsā satyam akrodhas tyāgaḥ śhāntir apaiśhunam
dayā bhūteṣhv aloluptvaṁ mārdavaṁ hrīr achāpalam||2||

Meaning : A person of divine nature possesses non-violence, choosing not to harm any living being in thought, word, or action. They are truthful, always speaking words that are honest and beneficial. They have control over anger and do not let it disturb their peace. Such a person practices renunciation by letting go of selfish desires and attachments. They remain calm and peaceful in all situations, and refrain from gossip or speaking ill of others. They show compassion to all living beings and are free from greed or craving for material pleasures. Their nature is gentle and kind, marked by humility and modesty. They are emotionally steady, not easily disturbed or restless, and carry themselves with quiet dignity.

Chapter 16: Daivāsura Sampad Vibhāg Yog
śhrī-bhagavān uvācha
abhayaṁ sattva-sanśhuddhir jñāna-yoga-vyavasthitiḥ
dānaṁ damaśh cha yajñaśh cha svādhyāyas tapa ārjavam||1||

Meaning : Lord Sri Krishna said: A person endowed with divine qualities possesses fearlessness, a purified heart, and a steady commitment to the path of spiritual knowledge and yoga. Such a one practices generosity and charity, maintains control over the senses, and performs sacred duties and sacrifices sincerely. They are devoted to the study of scriptures, live with self-discipline and austerity, and uphold honesty and integrity in all aspects of life.
