Chapter 13: Kṣhetra Kṣhetrajña Vibhāg Yog
kṣhetra-kṣhetrajñayor evam antaraṁ jñāna-chakṣhuṣhā
bhūta-prakṛiti-mokṣhaṁ cha ye vidur yānti te param ||35||

My Understanding : If you meditate in this way, you will come to understand the difference between the field and the knower of the field. So, why do you experience all these emotions? They arise from the different dharmas (laws) of nature.

prakṛityaiva cha karmāṇi kriyamāṇāni sarvaśhaḥ
yaḥ paśhyati tathātmānam akartāraṁ sa paśhyati ||30||
yadā bhūta-pṛithag-bhāvam eka-stham anupaśhyati
tata eva cha vistāraṁ brahma sampadyate tadā|| 31||
anāditvān nirguṇatvāt paramātmāyam avyayaḥ
śharīra-stho ’pi kaunteya na karoti na lipyate|| 32||

My Understanding : Nature is the unique foundation for all beings. We perceive things differently because of the way nature is structured. However, the Supreme Lord sees all of these differences as one. Therefore, you must realize that God is one, unified in essence.

Chapter 13: Kṣhetra Kṣhetrajña Vibhāg Yog(13.29)

samaṁ paśhyan hi sarvatra samavasthitam īśhvaram
na hinasty ātmanātmānaṁ tato yāti parāṁ gatim || 29||

My Understanding : The Supreme God resides in everything, and His presence is the same in all things. When you observe and practice meditation with this awareness, you will come to experience His presence within your soul.

ya evaṁ vetti puruṣhaṁ prakṛitiṁ cha guṇaiḥ saha
sarvathā vartamāno ’pi na sa bhūyo ’bhijāyate || 24||
dhyānenātmani paśhyanti kechid ātmānam ātmanā
anye sānkhyena yogena karma-yogena chāpare|| 25||
anye tv evam ajānantaḥ śhrutvānyebhya upāsate
te ’pi chātitaranty eva mṛityuṁ śhruti-parāyaṇāḥ || 26||
yāvat sañjāyate kiñchit sattvaṁ sthāvara-jaṅgamam
kṣhetra-kṣhetrajña-sanyogāt tad viddhi bharatarṣhabha|| 27||
samaṁ sarveṣhu bhūteṣhu tiṣhṭhantaṁ parameśhvaram
vinaśhyatsv avinaśhyantaṁ yaḥ paśhyati sa paśhyati|| 28||

My Understanding : One who understands both the material world and the Supreme God will be free from the cycle of rebirth. This realization can be attained through the practice of meditation. Through consistent meditation, you will come to perceive the true Paramatma (Supreme Soul).

Chapter 13: Kṣhetra Kṣhetrajña Vibhāg Yog(13.21-13.23)

kārya-kāraṇa-kartṛitve hetuḥ prakṛitir uchyate
puruṣhaḥ sukha-duḥkhānāṁ bhoktṛitve hetur uchyate || 21||
puruṣhaḥ prakṛiti-stho hi bhuṅkte prakṛiti-jān guṇān
kāraṇaṁ guṇa-saṅgo ’sya sad-asad-yoni-janmasu || 22||
upadraṣhṭānumantā cha bhartā bhoktā maheśhvaraḥ
paramātmeti chāpy ukto dehe ’smin puruṣhaḥ paraḥ || 23||

My Understanding : The creator, the creation, and the place where creation occurs—all three are interconnected, each arising from the other. Nature is the force that binds them together. Everything is intricately interlinked, each part influencing and supporting the other.

Chapter 13: Kṣhetra Kṣhetrajña Vibhāg Yog(13.18-13.20)

 jyotiṣhām api taj jyotis tamasaḥ param uchyate
jñānaṁ jñeyaṁ jñāna-gamyaṁ hṛidi sarvasya viṣhṭhitam || 18||
iti kṣhetraṁ tathā jñānaṁ jñeyaṁ choktaṁ samāsataḥ
mad-bhakta etad vijñāya mad-bhāvāyopapadyate || 19||
prakṛitiṁ puruṣhaṁ chaiva viddhy anādī ubhāv api
vikārānśh cha guṇānśh chaiva viddhi prakṛiti-sambhavān || 20||

My Understanding : We see many different lamps, but the fire in each is the same, indivisible. Similarly, we observe various living beings, but they are all manifestations of Brahman. Our ignorance veils the truth, leading us to perceive them as separate. In reality, He resides in the heart of every being. Everything else in this world is material, transient, and temporary.

sarvendriya-guṇābhāsaṁ sarvendriya-vivarjitam
asaktaṁ sarva-bhṛich chaiva nirguṇaṁ guṇa-bhoktṛi cha || 15||
bahir antaśh cha bhūtānām acharaṁ charam eva cha
sūkṣhmatvāt tad avijñeyaṁ dūra-sthaṁ chāntike cha tat || 16||
avibhaktaṁ cha bhūteṣhu vibhaktam iva cha sthitam
bhūta-bhartṛi cha taj jñeyaṁ grasiṣhṇu prabhaviṣhṇu cha || 17||

My Understanding : We can see everything with our eyes, but we cannot see the eyes themselves. Similarly, in all things and everywhere, there is an inner witness. This inner witness perceives everything. All actions and existence move through its power. There is no concept of near or far; everything is within the hands of Brahmam. Brahmam appears to us in divided forms, but in truth, He remains one, unified in His essence.

Chapter 13: Kṣhetra Kṣhetrajña Vibhāg Yog(13.14)

sarvataḥ pāṇi-pādaṁ tat sarvato ’kṣhi-śhiro-mukham
sarvataḥ śhrutimal loke sarvam āvṛitya tiṣhṭhati ||14||

My Understanding : The body that carries the Kshetra is known as Kshetrajna. The creator of this is Brahmam. All of this occurs within the presence of the inner self, where there is no distinction between existence and non-existence.
