Chapter 10: Vibhūti Yog
arjuna uvācha
paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān
puruṣhaṁ śhāśhvataṁ divyam ādi-devam ajaṁ vibhum||12||

Meaning : Arjuna said: You are the supreme Brahman, the supreme abode, pure and highest. You are the eternal divine person, the original God, unborn and all-pervading.

Chapter 10: Vibhūti Yog
teṣhām evānukampārtham aham ajñāna-jaṁ tamaḥ
nāśhayāmyātma-bhāva-stho jñāna-dīpena bhāsvatā||11||

Meaning : Out of compassion for them, I destroy the ignorance born within their hearts, by the shining lamp of knowledge residing there.

Chapter 10: Vibhūti Yog
teṣhāṁ satata-yuktānāṁ bhajatāṁ prīti-pūrvakam
dadāmi buddhi-yogaṁ taṁ yena mām upayānti te||10||

Meaning : To those who are always devoted to Me with love, I give the wisdom and understanding by which they come to Me.”

mach-chittā mad-gata-prāṇā bodhayantaḥ parasparam
kathayantaśh cha māṁ nityaṁ tuṣhyanti cha ramanti cha||9||

Meaning : People who focus on Me with love, who live for Me and talk about Me to each other, are always happy and joyful.

ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate
iti matvā bhajante māṁ budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ||8||

Meaning : I am the source of everything; everything flows from Me. The wise, who understand this truth, worship Me with deep devotion.

etāṁ vibhūtiṁ yogaṁ cha mama yo vetti tattvataḥ
so ’vikampena yogena yujyate nātra sanśhayaḥ||7||

Meaning : Whoever truly understands My divine glories and powers is united with Me through unwavering yoga—there is no doubt about it.

maharṣhayaḥ sapta pūrve chatvāro manavas tathā
mad-bhāvā mānasā jātā yeṣhāṁ loka imāḥ prajāḥ||6||

Meaning : The seven great sages and the four Manus (progenitors of mankind), born from My mind and essence, are the ancestors of all living beings in the world.

ahinsā samatā tuṣhṭis tapo dānaṁ yaśho ’yaśhaḥ
bhavanti bhāvā bhūtānāṁ matta eva pṛithag-vidhāḥ||5||

Meaning : Non-violence, balance of mind, contentment, self-control, charity, fame, and disgrace— all these different qualities found in living beings arise from Me alone.

buddhir jñānam asammohaḥ kṣhamā satyaṁ damaḥ śhamaḥ
sukhaṁ duḥkhaṁ bhavo ’bhāvo bhayaṁ chābhayameva cha||4||

Meaning : Intelligence, knowledge, clarity, forgiveness, truthfulness, control of the senses, calmness, happiness, sorrow, birth, death, fear, and fearlessness — all these qualities come from Me.

Chapter 10: Vibhūti Yog
yo māmajam anādiṁ cha vetti loka-maheśhvaram
asammūḍhaḥ sa martyeṣhu sarva-pāpaiḥ pramuchyate||3||

Meaning : One who knows Me as unborn, without a beginning, and the Supreme Lord of all worlds—such a person, free from confusion, is released from all sins
