ākhyāhi me ko bhavān ugra-rūpo
namo ’stu te deva-vara prasīda
vijñātum ichchhāmi bhavantam ādyaṁ
na hi prajānāmi tava pravṛittim||31||

Meaning : Please tell me who You really are in this terrifying form.I bow down to You, O Supreme God — please be merciful. I want to understand who You are from the beginning, because I do not know what Your purpose is.
