janma karma cha me divyam evaṁ yo vetti tattvataḥ
tyaktvā dehaṁ punar janma naiti mām eti so ’rjuna||9||

Meaning : Krishna said: He incarnates whenever needed in the world to keep the balance of good and evil, ensuring that dharma (moral order) is preserved.
